Iran Zamin in‌ Farsi Calligraphy

by Nima on April 4, 2011

Iran Zamin is a Persian poem about Iran and the poet’s love for his country. Here is the first line in Farsi calligraphy. It reads:

  • In ‌Farsi: Agar Iran be joz viransara nist, man in viran sara ra doost daram
  • In English: If Iran is ever nothing but ruines, I will love this land of ruin.‌ It basically is about how the poet loves Iran no matter what shape she is in.
