Hi!

I would be so happy if you could write “pendare nik, goftare nik, kerdare nik” with a style similar to the one you wrote “Cho Iran Nabashad Tane Man Mabad” with. And then finish the whole thing off saying “Rah dar jahan yeki ast”

Nima September 15, 2010 at 4:11 pm

Aida, That does sound like a good calligraphy.‌ I’ll do my best to do it sometime soon. I’m crazy busy here with my other sites and work.‌

Aida September 15, 2010 at 7:06 pm

I look forward to it! :)

Hi,
I really like your work and I am looking for someone to write the following:
لحظه ها رو با تو بودن
Lahze ha ro ba to bodan
در نگاه تو شكفتن
dar negahe to shekooftan
حس عشق و در تو ديدن
hese eshgho dar to didan
مثل روياي تو خوابه
mesle royaye to khabe

Can you write this in the same style used for “Cho Iran Nabashad Tane Man Mabad”? Thanks!!

Nima September 22, 2010 at 7:41 pm

Nima September 22, 2010 at 7:42 pm

HI Vafa. Please subscribe to the RSS and check back soon

Nima September 22, 2010 at 7:44 pm

First we need to come up with a phrase. Let me see if I can think of something

Sara Rad September 25, 2010 at 1:27 am

Could you write me any poem of your choosing, by Rumi or Hafez in nastaliq? Or a similar script? Thank you so much in advance!

Sara Rad September 25, 2010 at 1:28 am

Or even a nice Persian proverb. Anything, as long as it’s not religious/political :)

Nima September 25, 2010 at 2:50 pm

Sara, There are already poems by Hafez and Rumi on the site. Did you want any specific one?

Sara Rad September 27, 2010 at 8:58 am

I really like:

This is love: to fly toward a secret sky,
to cause a hundred veils to fall each moment.
First, to let go of live.
In the end, to take a step without feet;
to regard this world as invisible,
and to disregard what appears to be the self.

Heart, I said, what a gift it has been
to enter this circle of lovers,
to see beyond seeing itself,
to reach and feel within the breast.

(RUMI)

But I cannot find it in Farsi? If you cannot either, I would appreciate a recommendation :)

Also, may I have the calligraphy in the style of “Bia Ta Gol Barafshanim” I really thought that one was beautiful! Thank you so very much in advance!

Farzin October 3, 2010 at 12:57 pm

Nicolas. October 7, 2010 at 8:11 pm

i am looking to get a tattoo in calligraphy. i was wondering if you could do a translation of maybe “family” or “family first”. If you could do so that’d be very much appreciated

Sepand October 8, 2010 at 8:52 pm

Im stuck on the same boat as Sara Rad, I really like the proverb : “Taking the first step with the good thought, the second with the good word, and the third with the good deed, I enter paradise.”
Im thinking it should be something close to goftare nik kerdare nik pendare nik, I know it’s alot to ask for it to be both translated and made into calligraphy but I’m willing to pay for the service.

Nima October 10, 2010 at 8:26 pm
Nima October 10, 2010 at 8:27 pm

Nicholas, see if you can ask around and come up with the Farsi phrase for me first. Thanks

Nima October 10, 2010 at 8:29 pm

Sepand, the translation is “Goftar e Neek, Pendar e Neek,‌ Kerdar e Neek”.

I will put it in calligraphy and publish it. Please check back soon.
