Last week I got a request to write this poem in Farsi calligraphy. It is a beautiful poem. I used to play it on Santoor as one of the first songs I learned (back when I was 10).
It reads (in Farsi)
To Kaman Keshide o dar kamin
Ke zani be tiram o man ghamin
Hameye ghamam bovad az hamin
Ke khoda nakarde khata koni

Someone asked me to write the word “Khalil Mamoon“ in calligraphy so here it is.
Khalil Mamoon is a famous brand of hookah.

This is a famous poem by Hafez. Following is a translation taken from Hafiz In Love website:
That beautiful Shirazi Turk, took control and my heart stole,
I’ll give Samarkand & Bukhara, for her Hindu beauty mole.
I think the translation should be slightly different as follow:
If that beautiful Shirazi Turk takes my heart
I’ll give Samarkand & Bukhara, for her Hindu beauty mole.

Eshgh in Farsi means love. Following is the word eshgh written in calligraphy.

Omid is a Farsi name that means hope. Following is the calligraphy writing of the name Omid.
